Sequester Grunheplith M.O was taking a stroll along the river just before he found his way here. Let's be honest, we all know he was just trying to check out the flooded river for himself.

He might now of found his way home, but he did find his way into our hearts!

Despite being a big boy, Sequester Grunheplith M.O is the slowest man on this earth. He somehow learned how to do zoomies in slow mo... which yes, is quite amusing to watch!

In all seriousness, this guy is wonderful. When we called him over, he trotted over to get some pets and also showed off that he knows the que "sit!

Based on his chill temperament, we really think he would do well in most homes. So if you're looking for a big boy to keep your couch warm, you need to come in and ask to meet Sequester Grunheplith M.O!

All adoptions must be done in person. Prospective adopters must meet the pet and complete the adoption application and questionnaire during the initial visit to our shelter at 2802 W Central Park Ave, Davenport, IA.

The Humane Society of Scott County (HSSC) has been an advocate for the humane care of all animals in Scott County, Iowa, since 1902.

An average of 500 pets arrive at the HSSC each month. About 80% come to us as strays and the rest are surrendered by owners who can no longer keep or care for their pets.

The HSSC is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization funded entirely by donations, adoption fees and a fee charged to the city and county for the care of the animals.
