Pie was the second orange cat to show up where I worked looking for food and attention. The vet estimated her age to be 2 years old when she was found, at the end of 2022. Pie tried out two other homes before coming to me. She has done well with dogs and children at all three homes. When energy levels go up she may hide for a bit, but she will quickly come back out looking for attention as things calm down.
At Pie's first two homes she didn't get along well with the other cats. Since I had the first cat, Pumpkin, we decided to see how the two would do together. They had their vocal fights, but would also groom each other and sleep next to each other. My situation has changed and Pumpkin has a new home. Pie seems to enjoy being an only cat.
Pie loves to be held and to curl up on laps. She is very soft and enjoys being pet, even belly rubs. She is also food motivated. Pie will squeak, chirp, and cry for affection. She will play with toys and chase her tail but doesn't get wild.
