My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It appears that I spent a great deal of time on my own. When I was rescued I had mats on my mats and it took hours to clean me up. My photos are now, and a before and after grooming shortly after rescue. I can tell you that I NEVER WANT TO BE NEGLECTED AGAIN, grooming was so painful I screamed. I’m fine with other rescue pups and I’m getting better every day. I hope to be someone's princess soon.

Adopters complete an application, references are given including a vet reference. Home visits are performed along with trial adoptions of up to a week. Adopters are required to sign a contract that is sent through the mail.

More about this rescue

Act2Pups is a 501(c)3 non-profit group. Act2Pups gives senior dogs that have been given up a second chance. Seniors are so easy to take care of. We provide a home environment for all of our senior pups. We are a small group that dedicates all of our rescue efforts to helping senior pets. We give them a thorough veterinary check up to include complete blood work and a dental at the minimum. We spay and neuter always. All of our senior pups are heart worm tested and are started on heart worm preventative.
