Foster cat's bio for their adoption profile: Cherub is a timid but sweet retired mama who has spent much of her life outdoors. She has live the hard outdoor life as is evidenced by her stubby ears, broken teeth, and a formerly fractured hind leg. Who knows how many litters of kittens she has raised in her 9+ years. She definitely deserves to live the pampered indoor cat life. Although she is timid, she is very sweet. She is learning to trust humans more and more and often does happy feet when food is forthcoming or when her fosters talk to her. She loves pets and belly rubs when she feels brave enough to receive them. Cherub is timid and may take some time to feel comfortable and trust people. She is tolerant of having her boundaries pushed... she loves pets, tummy rubs and being brushed once you get your hands on her. She might prefer a quieter house and seems very interested in other cats.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
