Meet Cashmere, the softest puppy you'll meet!

**Breed:** Long Hair Dapple Dachshund

**Health:** On heart prevention and fully vetted
**Training:** Working on potty training, sleeps in a kennel

**Personality:** Cashmere is a dachshund with a strong personality, best suited for a home experienced with doxies. He may try to get away with things and self-appoint himself as security, so consistent guidance is essential to keep behaviors in check. Cashmere also has a charming habit of booping your leg for attention. He loves people and enjoys being petted, reflecting his soft-as-cashmere coat.

**Interests:** Cashmere loves walks and adventures, playing chase, wrestling, and snuggling on the couch. He enjoys toys and food, as well as interacting with other dogs.

**Appearance:** Cashmere is a double dapple with a beautiful and unique color. He has an underbite, but his vet has checked and confirmed that all his teeth are in good condition.

He was also born with small eyes. The size of his eyes don't seem to have a negative effect on his vision at this point in his life. It's unknown whether they will have any effect on his vision as he ages.

**Ideal Home:** Cashmere would thrive in a home with a yard that has a secure fence. He would do well as an only dog with lots of attention and socialization, or with a small playmate. However, due to his assertive nature, he may not be the best fit if you already have a dominant dog.

**Additional Notes:** Cashmere is a loving and energetic puppy who is looking for a family that can provide him with love, attention, guidance and plenty of playtime. His affectionate nature, soft fur, and zest for life make him a wonderful companion for the right household.

The suggested adoption donation for Cashmere is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
