Woof! I'm Alphie, the basset/beagle mix! I spent my life outdoors, rain or shine, being used as a hunting dog. I've never had my own cozy bed or a family who truly loved me. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm finally safe! I'm sweet as pie-- though it takes some time to gain my trust after what I've been through. Despite my rough past, I have a gentle and loving personality. It might take time for me to fully trust, but once I do, you'll see just how affectionate I can be. At first, I might come across as a bit shy, but don't let that fool you. All I really want is to be cuddled and spoiled. Other dogs help me feel more confident- so I'd love another furry sibling in my new home. Please consider adopting me- I promise to be a good boy!
