Hi everyone, I am the bold Blue and here's some information about me:
Breed: Mixed breed of Retriever, Shepherd, Siberian Husky & other?
Age: Birth Date December 14, 2022 (1 yr 7 months)
Weight: 65 lbs
Height: (ground to shoulder) 23 inches
I was born in an accidental litter, the largest of the 8 pups, the boldest and bravest, so strong and pure muscle (or so I've heard). It makes me so happy and excited when people come home, but then I calm down fairly quickly. I absoultely love being around people, and will follow you around the house just be near you. Did I mention, I just love to give love, perhaps a lick here or a snuggle there?
Food is a big motivator for me, but I also love games where I can chase you or be chased. Running is great but in short bursts, I don't have that much stamina. I love to invite people to play tug-of-war with me, so if I offer you my favourite toy, you know what you're in for!
Car rides are great and I love to sit (or slouch) in the passenger seat or peer out the window in the car. I may just fall asleep on the back of the couch with my head on your shoulder or reserve your spot in bed for you. However if you tell me to, I'll sleep on the floor and try to sneak in a morning snuggle.
Rest assured your house is safe from strangers or intruders - I will send them a verbal message to keep their distance.
Energy Level: Moderate.
Cats are really interesting creatures to me. Sometimes I'll chase them around a bit, but I allow the cat to even eat from my bowl. I'm a chill guy and also generally good with kids.
Larger breed dogs (bigger than me) is okay, but I might need some socialization with smaller dogs. Sometimes I just don't realize how big and strong I am. I also haven't had much opportunity for socialization, apart from being with my mom, brother and sister in the litter.
Fears: Bicycles a bit. Skateboards and scooters. I'm not big on fireworks.
Leash skills: I have some, but given slack I can be quite a strong puller. When held close to your side on a short leash it's much better. Please be patient with me while we work on my training. I do well off leash and am pretty good at returning with a whistle, unless there is a bunny.
House trained: Yes.
Tricks: I can sit, shake a paw and lay down for a treat. Actually, I'll learn anything quickly if a treat is involved.
Health Notes: No health concerns. No allergies to any foods. I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and my Rabies shots are up to date.

As adopters of overseas dogs will be taking their dog home from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit.
