My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rocky!! I am around 6 I think and a Swiss shepherd!! The biggest thing to know about me is I will do anything for my "mate" Snowy and I will do everything I can do get to her when she is not around. We HAVE to be adopted together!!! I would also love if her sister Alaska can come but understand if 3 is just too much. Besides that I am a giant polar bear, I LOVE Belly rubs and will throw my whole 80lb body at you in order to ask for one!! I am extremely clever, but also stubborn, meaning I know my name but I don't ALWAYS listen. I love meal time, using my dog door to go outside and frozen enrichment toys. I do not do well with other dogs besides my 2 girls and am an escape artist if Snowy isn't with me. Oh and I also like to dig... not too much and not really to escape, more like a casual hobby... All adoptions require an approved application. The approval process includes but is not limited to reference checks, housing verification which may include home visits, personal ID verification, and veterinary references. Once this process is complete adopter must agree to and sign our adoption agreement contract insuring the best interest and care of the animal will always be priority. Every adoption is a case by case basis to ensure we match each dog with the most compatible home for its needs.
Our fees are determined by an average cost of care to transport, provide medical care, feed, and supply needed items and services to each of our rescue animals.
Our adoption fees range from $205 to $415 based on the age of the animal.

L.O.L.A.'S Rescue is a foster based, 501c3, non-profit, PACFA Licensed, no-kill rescue. We specialize in the rescue and rehabilitation mostly of large and giant breed dogs.

It is our hope to save as many adoptable dogs as possible from uncertain futures, and find them forever, loving homes. Our dogs come from all situations, from families that can no longer keep them, strays, to shelter dogs that are on the euthanasia lists at high kill shelters around the country.

Our rescue is run solely on the help from our dedicated fosters, volunteers, and donations. We are always searching for new amazing fosters and volunteers to help us expand our mission and do even more amazing life saving work in the future.
