Hi!! I am Charmander! Charms for short! The LOLA's staff absolutely adore me, as they should! I have been in a boarding or shelter facility for a very long time but only recently came here hoping I would have better luck. Over the years I have become very selective of my dog friends, its not that I hate all dogs but I just need a slow introduction and someone who will help me learn how to be in a home. So I may just do better as your only furry friend and definitely can't have any small animals around me as I have what they call a very high prey drive. I am obsessed with all things mentally stimulating, Kongs, puzzles, slow feeders, sniffle mats! Anything that can make my brain work harder! I am older but I promise it doesn't slow me down, I can even jump really well so I need a 6ft fence to keep me contained I know how to sit, I am food motivated and I know my name very well. All adoptions require an approved application. The approval process includes but is not limited to reference checks, housing verification which may include home visits, personal ID verification, and veterinary references. Once this process is complete adopter must agree to and sign our adoption agreement contract insuring the best interest and care of the animal will always be priority. Every adoption is a case by case basis to ensure we match each dog with the most compatible home for its needs.
Our fees are determined by an average cost of care to transport, provide medical care, feed, and supply needed items and services to each of our rescue animals.
Our adoption fees range from $205 to $415 based on the age of the animal.

L.O.L.A.'S Rescue is a foster based, 501c3, non-profit, PACFA Licensed, no-kill rescue. We specialize in the rescue and rehabilitation mostly of large and giant breed dogs.

It is our hope to save as many adoptable dogs as possible from uncertain futures, and find them forever, loving homes. Our dogs come from all situations, from families that can no longer keep them, strays, to shelter dogs that are on the euthanasia lists at high kill shelters around the country.

Our rescue is run solely on the help from our dedicated fosters, volunteers, and donations. We are always searching for new amazing fosters and volunteers to help us expand our mission and do even more amazing life saving work in the future.
