Meet 4 year old, 17 lb Yorkshire Terrier, Lacie. Lacie was turned in to rescue with two other pups. She's a friendly but cautious girl who recently had puppies, as evidenced by her belly. Lacie can be head shy, so a home without young children is a must. She likes to be pet behind her ears and will give kisses and roll over for belly rubs when she's comfortable with you. The PAC-OC requires a completed adoption application, a home check, and an adoption donation. The standard adoption donation is $300. This may vary depending on individual animals and circumstances, which will be outlined in the adoption contract.

The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that develops and provides creative solutions to find safe, loving, permanent homes for displaced pets in our community.

We offer adoption services, as well as placement and referral services, to successfully match pets with highly compatible people and families. Through public education, we encourage humane pet care and responsible, long-term pet ownership. We bring together people with pets, and individuals with their community, to create the social change needed to achieve our goal of reducing shelter euthanasia rates and eliminating pet overpopulation.
