My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birthdate:  10/15/2023

Breed: One of a kind

Weight:   Still growing!

See Frida in her foster home: Frida getting love!

Frida, a masterpiece in motion, paints a world of joy with every wag of her tail. With strokes of brilliance, her coat boasts the prettiest of palettes, making her a vision of canine beauty. Much like her namesake, she's a work of art, weaving love and color into the canvas of life.

This gorgeous girl is an ensemble of kindness, playing harmoniously with other dogs, her spirit as infectious as her joy. A connoisseur of cuddles, she masters the art of affection, finding solace in the warmth of companionship. Her playfulness is a live gallery of movement, inviting you to be part of her interactive exhibit.

Frida's palate isn't just visual; it's culinary, too—treats are her favored delight, savored with every nibble.

She's poised, waiting not for a critic but a family. Ready to embrace her new circle, Frida dreams not of fame, but of love, yearning to be swept off her paws into a forever home. Her story is one not of tragedy, but of hope, a living tribute to love's enduring beauty.

Frida is currently in a foster home. Please email adoptions@pawscrossedny.org if you'd like to meet her!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
