Ok, if you are smart, u don't answer that question :) I know that my ears makes me look sweet and a little bit SILLY. But I am laying it all out there for adoption!
I am a sweet and semi sophisticated girl with a heart of gold and a dark and swirling coat to match:). My sisters and I were wandering around on a railroad track, out in the middle of nowhere.... when an older couple found us, and they knew they couldn't possibly leave us there- we were scared and certainly going to die if not saved....
So, this wonderful couple took us in and reached out to the rescue for help, and the rest is proverbial history!
EXCEPT, finding our furever homes.... that is where YOU come in!
We are the sweetest girls around and are looking for the best homes around! We can be adopted ANYWHERE in the WHOLE USA, isn't that COOL??
We think so, we are trying not to be too picky but of course we want the nicest, happiest, playfullest and funnest homes there are!

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
