Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Linda, Linda, Linda! Did you know that her name means "pretty" in Spanish? Well, this lovely lady lives up to her name and then some! Not only is she a stunning little beauty, but she's also fun, smart, and ready for adventure. Linda recently had a chance to go on a field trip with our volunteers, and they discovered that she absolutely loves being outdoors. Whether it's hiking through the woods or splashing in the water, Linda dives into every adventure with pure joy. Her zest for life and love for nature make her the ultimate companion for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors.
At about 20 pounds and around 2 years old, Linda is the perfect size for all your adventures. With her adorable short legs and playful personality, she's a delightful sight to behold! Linda is great with other dogs, though she prefers canine pals who aren't too tiny so she can have a proper play session. She's a true "make your life better" kind of girl who will fill your days with laughter, love, and excitement. If you're looking for a best friend who's always up for a hike or a spontaneous swim, Linda is your girl. So, lace up your hiking boots, grab your gear, and get ready to explore the world together - because life is always better with Linda by your side!

More about this rescue
The vision for ACT has been brewing in the minds of the Animal Compassion Team founders for many years. The paths we have walked have prepared us and tested our determination through hard work, buckets of tears, mountains of fecal matter (a favorite topic of discussion amongst animal rescuers), and more than our fair share of discouragement and heartbreak. Having said that, why would we choose to dive in deeper? For the love of the animals we serve. It is just that simple. Dogs, cats, and other wonderful animals are dying in huge numbers daily. We hope to help change that. In August of 2009, we became a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with California and the Federal Government. It was and continues to be, a huge leap of faith for all of us who already feel overwhelmed by the work we are doing, but we believe this is the time....this is what we have all been preparing for. One life saved makes all the effort and emotional investment worthwhile. This is going to be an exciting journey, and we hope to post MANY happy endings.
Our Mission Statement:
To provide a safe haven for domestic animals, regardless of breed or species, through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and sanctuary. To advocate for the humane treatment of animals and promote the human-animal bond. To educate the public about the importance of kindness, compassion, and responsible pet ownership which will emphasize spaying and neutering. To cooperate and work with other animal rescues and shelters towards the goal of becoming a no-kill nation.
