Meet Dot - she can sure make a point!
Dot is a sharpei mix that is full grown and currently weighs 31 pounds. We believe she is 1 to 2 years old and is amazingly sweet with humans!! Dot is great with other dogs in causal settings (like on a walk) but does have resource guarding issues with food and toys with other dogs. Given her resource guarding issues with other dogs we believe Dot should be in an home as an only dog or someone with experience/trained in resource guarding behavior.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
