My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokey~birth~October 2023
I'm a sweet girl that got down on my luck. i got a fractured hip and limped to a house asking for help. The family called PAAW to see if they could help me. I couldn't use my back legs, so I went to the Dr for emergency x-rays to see what was wrong. The Dr. suggested bed rest for me to heal. i got to relax in my new foster home and eat and sleep and just recover. It took a couple of weeks but I had a couple of new cat friends to keep me company and slowly I started to walk and then after a long couple of months I was able to actually run and start to play like a kitten. I have a best friend Willy that I like to hang out with and would love to find a home that is kind of on the quiet side. I had a hard time before I found PAAW. I like to purr and cuddle on laps and with Willy. Come see how strong I've become.

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
