My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Bonnie. I'm still a puppy, full of energy and curiosity. I love to play and explore, but I'm also gentle and cuddly when it's time to relax. I'm a friendly little guy who loves meeting new people and making friends. My favorite thing is when someone takes the time to play with me or give me a good belly rub. I can't resist a good game of fetch either! I promise to bring lots of joy and laughter into your life. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and loyal companion, then I'm your pup!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
