Peanut is a 13 year old girl who comes from a loving home, but is looking for a family who can give her the extra attention she craves. We recently had a high needs baby, and she has had trouble adapting to not being the center of our world. We hope to find her a person who can give her all the cuddles she deserves.
This sweet old lady wants to spend her day napping on soft blankets or by a window. She loves to snuggle on a warm lap and is an expert biscuit maker. Most of all, she loves to play!
She has never been around kids or dogs, so I expect she would be skittish at first. She can be nervous around strangers and may take some time to warm up, but she will be a dear companion once her trust is earned. She is front declawed (required by landlord) and has never tried to bite anyone. She is a fairly social cat and wants to spend a lot of quality time with her humans every day.
Peanut was rescued from a shelter at 3 months old with her brother, Hershey, who is also up for adoption.
