ALL STAR PUP!!!!

Meet Sox, named appropriately with his cute white "knee socks" and white tipped tail to match. He is only a year old and a medium perfect sized and very handsome brindle boy! He is very playful and enjoys playing fetch and even throws the toy for himself if you're not available to play!! Sox is good on the leash and will make a great walking or hiking buddy. He may be house trained as he did his "business" outside immediately upon exiting the shelter. Being so young, he very trainable and treat motivated and takes them gently from your hand. Meet this personable and affectionate doggy who has been designated as an ALL STAR by staff that will fit well in most families (but with no cats please ).

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
