Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hera! Hera is a spayed, adult female. Nothing fazes Hera. Named after the Queen of the Gods in Greek Mythology, Hera was a notoriously protective and jealous Goddess. The cat you see here is much more mellow and relaxed. She loves being pet, and is the perfect lap cat. She will follow you to your seat and hop right it, wiggling around like a noodle until you and her are perfectly comfortable.
Hera came to CHA as a stray in April with her 6 kittens! 2 of her kittens have luckily been adopted and unfortunately the rest of the kittens are being treated. Hera came in as a simi-feral but has been warming up more and more everyday! She will definitely need to go to a home with low energy and with people that will give her the time she needs to warm up and become her best self!
To meet Hera in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week, please fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we would be happy to make an appointment outside our normal business hours/days. To download an application, please visit our website at www.chippewahumane.com. Please call the shelter at (715)-861-5748 with any other questions.
