My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershey is a 13 year old boy who comes from a loving home, but is looking for a family who can give him the extra attention he craves. We recently had a high needs baby, and he has had trouble adapting to not being the center of our world. We hope to find him a person who can give him all the cuddles he deserves.

Despite his age, he still loves to run and play. He is a master at cuddling and will make himself comfortable in your lap all day long, and his purr motor is always on overdrive. But most of all, he loves to eat!

He has never been around kids or dogs, so I expect he would be skittish at first, but he is a sweetheart who would get along with anyone as long as they're gentle with him. He is front declawed (required by landlord) and has never tried to bite anyone. He is a social cat, talkative, and wants to spend most of the day around his humans.

Hershey was rescued from a shelter at 3 months old with his sister, Peanut, who is also up for adoption. He has no medical issues.
