My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Victory and I am looking for my furever home. I was found in the woods in eastern Kentucky by 4wheel riders on a very hot summer day. I was very thin because I just had a litter of eight puppies. I was rescued by Cross Your Paws and now I am living the best life here in Pennsylvania.

I am a three year-old, 55 pound terrier mix who is sure to steal your heart! I am shy at first, my foster family said that it took me about three days to feel comfortable in my foster home. Now that I know I am safe, I love to play with my foster siblings and two big fur brothers.

I am good on a leash, fully potty trained, and have never chewed or destroyed anything. I believe I am a lapdog, I love to snuggle on a couch with my humans. I’ve also been nicknamed, “ Velcro dog,” because I love my human so much!

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
