My name is Wesley (NY)!

Wesley (NY) is a male small Terrier mix rescued in New York. Our veterinary partner estimates that Wesley is 7 years old at the time of intake in May 2022.  Wesley is good with people and other dogs.  We don't know how Wesley got into the horrific condition he was in; all we know is that Wesley's owner passed away and he ended up at the kill shelter from which we rescued him.  This very sweet boy was  dirty, matted, had overgrown nails and he could hardly walk. Wesley has already gone to the spa, and it turns out that this matted, filthy, bundle of fur is actually a handsome prince! Wesley is now at our NY specialty vet where he is being evaluated to determine his overall condition. Wesley has a Grade 2 heart murmur which does not require medical treatment.
