My name is Myrtle (TX)!

Myrtle (TX) is a female thought to be a terrier mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Myrtle is 8 years old at the time of intake in Oct 2022.  Myrtle is good with people and other dogs.  Myrtle was dumped by the only owners she has known just because she was sick and needed medical attention.  In the matter of minutes this sweet senior lost everything she has ever known.  Scared and alone waiting to see what happens to her next.  Well she has warm beds, medical care and love to look forward to.  She is doing great at her foster home, she enjoys getting cuddles and head rubs, napping and following you around.  She is a little fearful of hyper dogs and would require slow introductions.  She gets along fine with her foster sibling.  She is a total princess!  Her hobbies include sleeping by the fireplace, cuddling in bed, and going on walks in the park!  If you would like to give sweet Myrtle a home and feel what love is, please apply online to adopt Myrtle (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
