My name is Disco Queen (TX)!

Disco Queen (TX) aka Lorelei is a female thought to be Shepherd mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Disco Queen is 10 years old at the time of intake in Sept 2023.  Disco Queen is good with people , dogs and cats.  Disco Queen was dumped by the only owners she has known in rough shape, used and abused and when her owners had no more use for her they dumped her. How sad is it when the best day of your life is when you find yourself on an animal control van headed to a scary shelter.  Well it was the best day of her life because we pulled her into rescue and will get her the care she needs.  Her foster says that she is super sweet, docile and gentle.  She's alert and curious when she is outside and great on a leash.  She is great in her crate and is very low maintenance. Another adorable trait is that she sleeps with her tongue out.
