My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cheeto is one of four friendly and playful kittens born to an abandoned friendly mother cat in the middle of a field. A caring cat lover could not stand the thought of them being left outside so she brought the family in and raised them until they were old enough to go to a rescue. Cheeto enjoys life to the fullest. He is purry and chatty.

He is was neutered 7/29/24, is up to date with his kitten shots, has been deflead, dewormed, and microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV.

Kittens do best if they have a pal and his special pal is Nugget. Almost look-alike twins, they play together, snuggle together, and would love to be adopted together.

An application, landlord approval if renting, safety home check, and adoption fee are required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and with proof of disability. A significant discount is available for adopting bonded pairs.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
