My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Bridgerton crew came from up north near the Canadian border, where Lady Whistledown was left behind when her owner moved. The kind neighbor took her in and gave her a safe place to have her babies. Benedict, Daphne, Colin, Gregory and Anthony are her 5 sweet babies.

Lady Whistledown is a petite grey tabby who is friendly and likes pets and attention, but isn't a lap cat. She has been a great mama to her 5 babies. All but one of her babies has been adopted, so she is ready to find her furever home. She lives with other cats and a small dog and is fine with them. She has an estimated birthdate of 050123.

She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. She will come with a sample of the food she has been eating and her medical records. Her adoption fee is $50. Thank you for considering Lady Whistledown!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
