Meet, CoCo! CoCo is a sweet, 1 year old girl that is sure to brighten any household! She loves to cuddle and be around her favorite people. She behaves well on a leash and has manners to sit at the door before going out. She is a beauty, inside and out. CoCo is pretty much down for anything but would do best in a home without cats. She loves to do training work and picks up on things really quickly. The sky is the limit with this girl! If you are interested in giving CoCo a forever home, please, fill out an application at ITVrescue.org. Coco's adoption fee was sponsored by a wonderful Spencer County Villager in hopes of helping her find her forever home.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
