Felix is a very special boy who is naturally handsome with his soulful eyes and slightly cocked ear. This kitty was specially chosen by his owner specifically because he has FIV. Yes, a very sweet woman who understands that FIV+ kitties seem to have trouble being chosen first over non FIV+ kitties. She rooted for the underdog so much so that she adopted TWO FIV+ cats. They all lived together until their kind owner recently passed away. Metro East Humane Society took one of the cats and we gladly took the older kitty, Felix. We do not care because what we see is a VERY healthy, very loving boy that only wants to live the rest of his long life in a home where someone will love and care for him like his firmer owner did. Felix may be 9 years old but cats live very long lives. He has been vetted regularly, is neutered and chipped so he can have a lot of love to give his next kind human. Felix absolutely loves being petted and although he is still a bit shy, just really needs a kind soul to take him on and show him once again what true love is. We truly know this boy is a real, true gem!
