Hi, I'm Leah.
In my last home i was ignored. I wasn't let in the house or allowed to be much of a member of the family,
Unfortunately, when I got to be about 5 years old, I found myself dumped off in the country to fend for myself. I sure didn't expect this thank you for all the puppies they got from me. I'm pretty sure they sold them too.
I was really lucky that the animal control officer found me and took me to the animal shelter since I got dumped when the temperatures were over 100 degrees and food, and water was hard to find.
At least in that scary animal shelter with all those big dogs I had food and water.
I was sure glad when a nice lady from IMPS came and took me home. At first, I was really afraid of being in the house, but it didn't take me very long to get used to it and fall in love with that "in the house" living! Even better is being able to cuddle up with my human foster mom! That is just the very best!
I sleep in my crate, but in the evenings when mama sits on the couch to watch a little TV, I cuddle up with her and I'm just in heaven! I even give mama hugs. Mom says I'm the most outgoing and loving dog she has had, and she's fostered a lot of dogs!
I'm even getting really good at using the doggy door to go outside and do my business. My foster mom says I settled in really fast, and that I get along with all the resident dogs, even the really big ones!
I show my foster mom how happy I am by following her around, and when she goes out to feed those humongous dogs (horses) and she leaves me in the yard, I jump up and down on spring-loaded legs and jump for joy to see her coming back.

I'm a beautiful Black and Rust 5-year young girl weighing 11 pounds. I have natural ears and tail. I've had a dental and a spay and am fully vetted.
