My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hooti can't seem to stop havin' a hoot!

This puppy is having the time of her life right now and can't wait to be adopted by a loving, caring, and fun-having family!

Hooti was rescued by a very nice foster and is currently learning how to be the best puppy ever.

She's working on crate and house training and doing okay in both. Hooti tends to be a screamer when she's in the crate and knows your about to let her out. Hooti tends to sleep through the night but might need a potty break.

Hooti is your typical puppy who loves to play and chews on things, she loves playing hard with other dogs but might be a bit too much with littles and seniors. She tends to chase cats.

Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
