My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxy is a big personality in a little body.
Roxy was found alone, fending for herself as a stray. She needs a family to understand her high energy and playfulness.
She loves to give kisses and yearns for a family to love her as the staff and volunteers do. Like all underdogs, Roxy has a whole crew rooting for her to find true love and a family that will take the time to make her a family member and allow her to decompress and flourish. We know that Roxy's family is out there!!! Could it be you?

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
