My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Helios, a spirited orange kitty with lots of energy. He loves chasing a wand toy or playing fetch with a toy mouse. He wants to know that you're around and after he's nice and tuckered out from chasing the toys he'll take a nap nearby.
Helios is a super sweet, energetic boy who loves to play! He has very unique white markings on both sides of his body, but believe it or not that’s the least interesting thing about him!

He’s very smart, and you will quickly learn that one of his impressive hidden talents is that he fetches his toys like a dog. After an intense play session, Helios is more than down to curl up next to you for a nap (if you’re lucky, he will even give you a nice biscuit massage while he’s nodding off). He’s also always down for a snack, and wont give you any trouble brushing him if you have a Churu in hand.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
