Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
NORA RECENTLY GRADUATED FROM THE WOOF TRAINING PROGRAM AT LOWELL PRISON! She learned lots of new skills to help her find her forever home. She is extremely smart and learns quickly! Nora was transferred to us from our county shelter emaciated, and scarred. Even in the condition she was in, she was the sweetest girl, always in a good mood and happy to see people who treat her well. She has healed into a beautiful girl who is so full of life! She enjoys belly rubs and cuddling! She is great with most dogs and deserves a loving family who will spoil her.

To learn all about our adoption process please visit the following link: https://www.vocalforpets.org/how-to-adopt-a-pet/
We require an adoption fee for both dogs and cats, an application, and a home visit. We end the process with our adoption contract.
If you are interested in applying for one of our animals, please visit our website www.vocalforpets.org. Our dog and cat applications can be found under the "Paperwork" heading or on the "Adopt" page.
We accept multiple applications on all of our animals; we believe in finding the best fit home. We don't place animals on a first come, first serve basis. Once we receive your application, we will reach out to you to review your application IF we feel you could potentially provide the best fit home for the animal.

We DO NOT have a shelter facility open to the public. We are a foster based program so most of our animals live with our volunteers. We think this is pretty great! Having adoptable animals in foster homes teaches them pet manners such as housebreaking and social skills. It also allows us to learn a lot about the animals and helps us determine the type of home the animal will be most successful in.
If you are wondering how to meet an animal you are interested in adopting, you have to fill out an application first. Then, if we feel you could be a fit, we set up a home visit and meet and greet with the animal.

More about this rescue
We have seen the issues of pet overpopulation firsthand. Our board members and volunteers have worked with local animal shelters and have seen the thousands of animals in Marion County that have nowhere to go, who are often abandoned and/or killed. We also recognize the strength of the human-animal bond and have witnessed the situations that animals often fall into during a family crisis. We have made it our mission to help these animals. We hope you will join us!
