Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kratos, the big goofy boy who's sure to steal your heart! This lovable pup was left on the shelter property, but that hasn't dimmed his fun-loving spirit one bit. With his playful bark and wagging tail, Kratos is always ready for the next adventure, whether it's a long walk, a game of fetch, or simply hanging out with his people.
Kratos gets along great with other dogs and would love a furry friend who can keep up with his energetic personality. He's also a total snuggle bug and gives the BEST kisses-you won't be able to resist his charm or his incredible handsome looks!
Kratos is currently enrolled in classes through the Dayton Dog Training Club, where he's learning lots of cool new tricks to show off to his future family. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion, Kratos is your guy!
If you're interested in adopting Kratos, fill out an application on our website or stop by the shelter to meet him in person!

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
