How Nova Stella arrived:
Nova Stella was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on 6/29/24.

Why Nova Stella is the one for you:
Nova Stella has been a little shy in our care, but with a bit of patience and extra love, she is gaining confidence. This sweet girl may need some time to come out of her shell, but once she does, she will be a loyal and loving companion. Nova Stella's ideal home is one where she can feel safe and secure, with owners who are willing to give her the time and attention she needs to blossom. With the right environment and plenty of positive reinforcement, Nova will thrive and become a cherished member of her new family. We are recommending a family with no young kids (under 8). If you would like to meet her, grab a leash and collar and head to our Escondido Campus.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
