My name is Alaska....my foster mom calls me Ally! My Foster mom asked me what my idea of a perfect furever family would be. I thought about it and this is what I came up with. My perfect family would be a family that would be patient with me and love me for who I am. You see, I am still a puppy! You like that it rhymes, sort of I need a family that would be willing to spend a lot of play time with me and one that would continue my "manners" training! My foster mom says I am a very good puppy that has the potential to be a great dog with the right family! I learn quickly and know sit, down, no. I love my treats and toys. I am currently working on house training. I still have the occasional accident. I currently live in a home with 4 other dogs and three cats. I get along with everyone, but I love Boo most of all. He is around my age and we love to run and play in his back yard. I also have a kiddie swimming pool that I love to lay in and cool off after a lot of fun play with Boo! I am currently trying to teach my friend Boo how to fetch. He will run with me to get the tennis ball, but I am always the one taking it back to my foster mom! I sleep in my crate at night. I have to have a little snack to get settled into my crate. I don't like to be in the crate during the day. I am lucky that my foster mom is a stay-at-home mom! I am an active pup, and I am working on walking nicely on a leash. My husky side comes out at times, and I find myself pretending like I am pulling a snow sled! After exercise I am good at settling down inside. I sometime sleep at my foster mom's feet when she is at her computer and sometimes, I sleep on the couch beside my best friend Boo or sit with my foster mom in her chair. If you think I sound like a good fit to be your family's newest member, I would love to meet you and make a heart-to-heart connection. That is how I communicate the best.... the love that my heart has to give and wants to receive!
