Pebbles is an adorable, sweet faced dilute calico female who was brought into the shelter at about four months of age. She is quite shy, and was initially very hissy to all who approached. However, she is just scared--she is not at all aggressive and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. When she was in foster, she hissed when being picked up but then spent hours sitting in her foster mom's lap. She may still hiss a little bit, but she gets over it quickly. In the cage Pebbles hasn't seemed very playful, but that may be because her brother wouldn't let get near any toys. Now that he has been adopted we expect her to strut her stuff a bit more. Pebbles seems to enjoy the company of other cats and would make a perfect second kitty. Pebbles needs a patient person to work with her. After time with us she has already come a long way. For the right family, she would make a wonderful addition. While fine with other cats, she is less open to canine friends. To meet Pebbles please fill out an application online or in person.
