My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet, Betty White. Betty White is looking for a home that has a zest for tennis balls! She loves to spend her days playing fetch and getting belly rubs. This 2 year old girl weighs in at only 36 lbs. but makes up for her size in her personality. With her Snow White coat and her little brown spotted ears, she is quite an adorable girl! She is always happy to be around people and be right in the middle of what is going on around her.
If you're looking to add this "legend"  to your home, please, fill out an application at ITVrescue.org. Meet and greets with other dogs is recommended.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
