My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date Listed 7/18/2024

Bio: Gru is a sweet senior boy looking for his furever home! Gru was dumped outside right before a major cold snap when he was rescued. He’s a simple boy who loves pets and lounging on a window shelf. He would do best as a single cat or with a very docile friend. He prefers a home with no dogs and only older children. If you are looking for a big, sweet lion of a cat then Gru is your man!

Applicants applying for a pair of kittens will take precedence if approved for adoption.

All adoptions are first come first serve.

ADOPTION APPLICATION - ADOPT TAB - www.tnrtaskforce.org

All of our cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, negative for FIV/FELV (unless noted), dewormed, flea treated and microchipped.

Adoptions are first come first serve. We do not hold cats or kittens. You must be approved to adopt in order to schedule a meet and greet with any of our adoptable cats or kittens.

Kittens under the age of 8 weeks are available for pre-adoption.

Our cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Kittens under 8 weeks of age can be pre-adopted. After filling out an adoption application, if approved to adopt we can schedule a virtual or in person meet and greet. In order to pre-adopt you will leave an adoption donation deposit fee and fill out a pre-adoption agreement to hold them until their adoption date which will be 3-5 days after they are spayed/neutered. All adoption applications and pre-adoptions are first come first serve.

More about this rescue

TNR Taskforce, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue groups whose main focus is TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) of feral cats in the Town of Brookhaven. All of the cats we TNR cats get spayed/neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies and ear tipped. After they recover from surgery they are returned to their colony/home. While trapping, we come across friendly cats and kittens. We then vet those cats and kittens and get them ready for adoption. Once they are ready for adoption, we try to find the most purrfect homes for them. All of our adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neuter, vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, dewormed, flea treated, tested for FIV/FELV and microchipped.
