Marsh was a new cat in the alley behind our home that we did not recognize, but followed us unprompted into our apartment building and up three flights of stairs, into our apartment at the beginning of June this year. She is the perfect lap cat and enjoys multiple 10-15 minute cuddle sessions a day. Very affectionate
She entered our home in perfect health, as we took her to the Vet for a checkup, to see if she had a chip, and to get a rabies vaccination for her. She had no fleas, parasites, or infections but is still in need of the rest of her shots, a spay, and a microchip. She is even well behaved for nail trims, especially when held like a baby, which she tolerates well and seems to enjoy for the most part as long as the person is standing.
Marsh gets along well with other cats after proper acclimation, is respectful of older cats and will play with younger cats. She is not spayed, so is more prone to outbursts of territorial aggression, but this would go away after she is spayed.
