Oh sweet Sadie!

Sadie came to us as her Mom had to go into a domestic abuse shelter and she couldn't take Sadie with her. Castoff stepped up to save this girl and now she needs her furever home. She isn't doing well at the shelter as you can imagine. The faster we get her out of here, the better it will be for her.

As you can imagine, she's very shy. We think she may have been abused as well. She's very sweet, but it takes her a long time to come around. But when she does she will never leave your side. She needs someone who will be very patient with her and not rush her.

She has come a long way since the first day she was here but it's still a lot for her. She is house trained and is about 1 year old. We'd love to see her have a fenced in yard because she loves to run and play, that is one of her favorite things to do.

She is a medium sized dog and probably wont get any bigger. She is what we call a "velcro dog". Miss Sadie always wants to know what you're up to. Every little move you make, she's like "what we doing? Where we going?!" She gets along with other dogs, but would need a proper introduction if you have one. She has a beautiful shiny black coat!
