Oh sweet Sadie it takes her a long time to come around but when she does she will never leave your side, She has Separation Anxiety with people she trusts, She needs someone who can hlep her with that and will be very patient with her and not rush her. She has come a long way since the first day she was here but it's still a lot for her she is still really confused. She is very weary about new people. She will bark and growl. She is house trained and is about 1 year old or younger, Will need a fenced in yard because she loves to run that is one of her favorite things to do. She is a medium sized dog and probably wont get any bigger. She was an owner surrender. She came from an abusive home so it takes her a litte while to warm up to people, but when she does she'll be your best friend. She is what I call a "velcro dog" Always wants to know what you're up to. Every little move you make, she's like "what we doing? Where we going?!" She gets along with other dogs, but would need a proper introduction if you have one. She has a beautiful shiny black coat! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPRG/Dog

More about this rescue
The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
