My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jeannie: Your Resilient Ray of Sunshine
Introducing Jeannie, a beautiful white and tan sweetheart with a spirit as bright as her coat! At just over a year and a half old, this medium-sized charmer combines youthful energy with a growing sense of grace and resilience.
Jeannie's journey hasn't been easy, but her gentle nature and loving heart have remained unshaken. Despite facing hardship, she's emerged as a beacon of sweetness, ready to shower her new family with affection.
This brave girl is healing from a past injury, showing remarkable strength throughout her recovery. Her resilience is truly inspiring, and she's proven to be a model patient, cooperating with her care team every step of the way. Jeannie's experience has only deepened her appreciation for gentle handling and kind words.
More than anything, Jeannie longs for comfort and security. She dreams of a warm, cozy bed to call her own and a loving family to snuggle with. Her sweet disposition makes her an ideal companion for those seeking a loyal, appreciative friend.
Jeannie's youthful energy means she still has plenty of playful moments. She'd thrive with an owner who can provide her with both the physical activity and the restful downtime she needs to continue her healing journey.

More about this rescue

PAWS Columbus, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent overpopulation and suffering of companion animals, to teach kindness and responsibility toward them, and to promote the remarkable capacity of pets to enrich human lives through pet-assisted therapy programs. We work in partnership with the City of Columbus to enhance and supplement the services offered by Animal Care and Control, reduce the need for euthanasia of unwanted animals because of severe pet overpopulation and find a loving and compatible forever home for every adoptable animal. PAWS is supported by private contributions from the citizens of our community. We are People Helping Animals, Animals Helping People.
