Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DUCHESS is a beautiful lilac point, snowshoe Siamese who is approx. 1 year old. She is quite shy at first so she needs a person who will help her adjust in her new home - she prefers to stay in her ‘safe’ room for at least a week to slowly acclimate to her surroundings and her person. But, when she trusts you, she is a real affectionate girl, and she gives head bumps to show you she loves you. She will lay on top of you or next to you on the bed at night and purr happily. Duchess likes to be petted and talked to as she warms up to a quiet environment and her person. She is very energetic and playful; she loves to play with balls and toy mice and anything that wiggles. Duchess uses the tall scratching tree and she likes the cardboard floor scratcher. She really enjoys watching the birds out the window and is happy to be safely indoors. She isn’t real talkative but does have a few words to say.
She gets along with the foster’s cats and would probably like a cat-respectful cat as a friend, or she could be adopted as an only cat. A home without dogs or children is required. A home rather than an apartment is the best situation for her so she doesn’t have to move again and again. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give her a forever home.
Duchess is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Call 651-771-5662 if you are the special person for Duchess.
