My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾CHARLES🐾
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Meet Charles! 🐾 This charming little guy is a bundle of energy and joy, always ready for a game of chase with his favorite feather wand. Whether he's zooming around the house or playfully pouncing on his toys, Charles brings endless fun and laughter wherever he goes. But don't let his playful antics fool you—when the day winds down, he transforms into the ultimate snuggle buddy.

Charles loves nothing more than curling up with his humans at night, gently rubbing his head under their hands to demand those irresistible pets. 💕 He's a master at turning cozy moments into pure bliss.

Although he can be a bit shy when faced with new situations, all he needs is a calm, safe environment where he can slowly build his confidence and feel truly loved and adored.

This little foodie has a special fondness for wet food and treats, and breakfast is hands-down his favorite meal of the day. 🍽️

** Charles MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with him for ½ the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only, quiet home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. A patient family who will provide him with plenty of time to adjust, love, attention, and playtime is essential. **

Charles does great with other cats after proper introductions. He would do best in a home without dogs or children. He is litter box trained.

Charles is looking for a forever home where he can share his playful spirit, tender snuggles, and that big, loving heart of his. Could you be the one to give him the love and security he needs? 😺

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
