My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT ERIC! 🐾

Eric is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, ready to steal your heart and brighten your days! 🎉 This adorable guy has a zest for life and loves all kinds of toys, 🧸even chewing on cardboard boxes! 📦 You’ll often find him gleefully playing with a box or darting around the house chasing his kitty friends 🐈💨, spreading joy wherever he goes.

When playtime winds down, Eric’s softer side shines. He’s a total cuddlebug who loves nothing more than snuggling up with his feline pals for cozy naps 💤. He’s also incredibly affectionate with his humans—he adores being held and will melt your heart by trotting over with excitement the moment you call his name 🐾✨.

But that’s not all! Eric is as curious as he is sweet. He’ll follow you everywhere, eager to be part of your day and see what you’re up to 👀❤️. Whether you’re cooking, working, or relaxing, Eric will happily be by your side, ready to lend his company (and maybe a little mischief).

** Eric MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a second kitty with him for ½ the adoption fee!) He needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. A family who will provide lots love, attention, and playtime is essential. **

He does great with other cats after proper introductions. His foster mom thinks he would do well with calm, cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. Eric also does well with respectful, older children and is litter box trained.

Eric is looking for a loving forever home where he can share his playful spirit, endless affection, and boundless curiosity. If you’re searching for a snuggly, playful, and loyal companion, Eric is ready to be your new best friend! 🐾💖

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
