My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾ERIC🐾
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Meet Eric, the ultimate playful companion! 🐾 This little bundle of energy is always on the move, exploring his surroundings and darting around with his toys. 🎾 Whether it's a feather wand, a bouncy ball, or just about anything he can bat around, Eric finds joy in every moment. His favorite pastime? Chasing his brothers, Carl and Russell, around the house at lightning speeds! 🏃‍♂️💨 You’ll often see them zooming through rooms, creating their own playful adventures.

But don’t let his active nature fool you—Eric is also a total sweetheart. 🥰 Despite all that energy, he has a gentle, loving side that will melt your heart. When he’s in the mood for cuddles, he’ll come right over, plop himself into his foster mom’s lap, and purr contentedly as he soaks up all the affection. 💖 His love for his humans is just as strong as his love for his toys!

** Eric MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a second kitty with him for ½ the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. A patient family who will provide lots of time to adjust, love, attention, and playtime is essential. **

He does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. Eric also does well with respectful, older children and is litter box trained.

Eric would be the perfect addition to a home looking for a kitten who’s both playful and affectionate. He thrives in a family environment, especially with his brothers, so he’d love to find a forever home where he can continue chasing, snuggling, and being adored. 😻 If you’re ready for a whirlwind of fun and love, Eric is waiting for you! 🏡✨

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
