Scoobs is a ~1yo male, 50lb (yes actually), pitty mix.
He is a total goofball and could play all day! He loves to snuggle and is a total lover and once he gets to know you, and will wobble behind you everywhere you go!
However, Scooby does take time to warm up to new people or people coming into his home. He does not like to be pet/approached quickly and needs you to wait for him to come to you when you first meet him and will need a family who can advocate for him and his space. Because of this we are looking for an adult-only home, that does not have a lot of people coming and going.
He gets very excited when he plays or is excited and can get mouthy, bouncy, and barky but just can't control his excitement! He calms down when redirected and settled.
He is very good with other dogs but would do best with another dog who loves to wrestle and play as much as him! He is ok with cats but will try to chase them in a playful way and needs redirection.
He is neuter and up to date on all necessary vaccines.
