My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT CARL! 🐾

If you’re searching for the perfect blend of playful energy and snuggly affection, Carl is your guy! This sweet boy is all about fun and love. 🎾🐾 Carl loves to play with any toy he can find, from feather wands to crinkly balls, and he’s an expert at chasing his siblings around the house. He’s full of kitten energy and will keep you entertained with his antics!

But Carl isn’t just about play—he has a soft, snuggly side that’s impossible to resist. 🛏️💞 He has a special knack for seeking out the coziest cat bed, especially if another kitty is already curled up in it. There’s nothing he loves more than snuggling up with his feline friends for a warm and cozy nap. When it comes to his humans, Carl is just as affectionate. He loves being held, petted, and showered with attention. His gentle purrs and sweet personality make him a perfect cuddle buddy. 🫂💖

While Carl may be a little shy in new situations, he doesn’t take long to come out of his shell. With just a bit of patience (and maybe some treats), he’ll show you his true personality: playful, loving, and oh-so-sweet. Speaking of treats, wet food and snacks are absolutely the way to Carl’s heart! 🍗🦴 He’ll happily bond with you over mealtime or snack breaks.

** Carl MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat (or adopt a second kitty with him for ½ the fee!). He needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb, and toys to play with. A patient family who will provide him with time to adjust, love, attention, and playtime is essential. **

Carl does great with other cats after proper introductions. His foster mom believes he could adjust to calm, cat-friendly dogs with the right introductions. He does well with respectful, older children and is litter box trained.

Carl would thrive in a home where he can have plenty of playtime and lots of snuggles. Whether he’s zooming around the house or curling up in your arms, Carl is sure to bring so much joy and love to your life. If you’re ready to welcome this bundle of energy and affection into your home, Carl is ready to meet you! 🏠✨

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
