Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPT CARL! 🐾
If you’re searching for the perfect blend of playful energy and snuggly affection, Carl is your guy! This sweet boy is all about fun and love. 🎾🐾 Carl loves to play with any toy he can find, from feather wands to crinkly balls, and he’s an expert at chasing his siblings around the house. He’s full of kitten energy and will keep you entertained with his antics! He could play with his friend Russell all day! Those two are a hoot!
But Carl isn’t just about play—he has a soft, snuggly side that’s impossible to resist. 🛏️💞 He has a special knack for seeking out the coziest cat bed, especially if another kitty is already curled up in it. There’s nothing he loves more than snuggling up with his feline friends for a warm and cozy nap. When it comes to his humans, Carl is just as affectionate. He loves being held, petted, and showered with attention. His gentle purrs and sweet personality make him a perfect cuddle buddy. 🫂💖
While Carl may be a little shy in new situations, he doesn’t take long to come out of his shell. With just a bit of patience (and maybe some treats), he’ll show you his true personality: playful, loving, and oh-so-sweet. Speaking of treats, wet food and snacks are absolutely the way to Carl’s heart! 🍗🦴 He’ll happily bond with you over mealtime or snack breaks.
** Carl MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat (or adopt a second kitty with him for ½ the fee!). He would love to be adopted with his friend Russell! He needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb, and toys to play with. A patient family who will provide him with time to adjust, love, attention, and playtime is essential. **
Carl does great with other cats after proper introductions. His foster mom believes he could adjust to calm, cat-friendly dogs with the right introductions. He does well with respectful, older children and is litter box trained.
Carl would thrive in a home where he can have plenty of playtime and lots of snuggles. Whether he’s zooming around the house or curling up in your arms, Carl is sure to bring so much joy and love to your life. If you’re ready to welcome this bundle of energy and affection into your home, Carl is ready to meet you! 🏠✨

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens in need. We are based out of Davis County, Utah and we help many of our local and surrounding shelters.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric, neonatal, sick, injured and cats who are often overlooked or struggling at shelters. The cats/kittens then go into foster homes, and as needed, we get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption/foster program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We also care for many special needs cats, hospice cats, special needs/senior feral cats who can’t be released outdoors and other cats with needs that essentially make them “unadoptable”. Those kitties stay in our program as permanent fosters, so they will always get the care that they need.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for dozens of community-cats daily. We also assist low-income families with medical care and food for their animals as we are able to.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the community to care for the animals in our organization. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well when we are able, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives. We will continue to save more and more lives every year!
