My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

dob 11/15/22

For such a young cat, Rufus is one very mellow fellow. Calm and cool, he exchanges purrs for pets, and he doesn’t let his missing rear foot keep him from being your # 1 one fan. He was part of a large TNR project in South Boardman. His tipped ear shows he'd been living in an outdoor cat colony, but TC Paw placed him in a foster home rather than return him to the colony because he was so friendly. His missing back right foot looks like it was that way from from birth, not an injury. He doesn't seem in pain or bothered by it. Rufus  likes to lie next to you for petting and to keep you company. He doesn't love being picked up and held. He loves food - all food. He'll be happiest in a calm home where he won't be startled by noise or sudden movement. He can live with other friendly cats, but you have to do a gradual introduction.  His leg should be checked periodically to make sure it's healthy. If you have a peaceful home, Rufus, with his beautiful green eyes, will fit in perfectly. He is such an easy keeper.
