Pandora is adorable! She is the sweetest kitten. She and her brothers have all tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). This means they must live in a home with no other kitties, or kitties who are also positive for FeLV. This virus cannot be spread to humans, dogs, or other animals. Just cats. Pandora is loving and wants attention so badly! Please consider giving her and one of her brothers a forever home. Contact her foster at anangelrn@aol.com to meet Pandora!

HALO's cats and kittens can be seen at Pet Food Express in Antioch. Adoption hours are every Friday 4pm-7pm plus Saturday and Sunday 10am-1:30pm (except the third Saturday, we do not have an adoption event). Antioch store is located at 5829 Lone Tree Way, Suite B, Antioch, CA.

All of HALO's cats are available for adoptions have been spayed or neutered and up-to-date on their vaccinations.

All the animals are microchipped.

Dogs and cats receive a complete check by a veterinarian.

More about this rescue

H.A.L.O. is the East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization, better known as H.A.L.O. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c(3) charitable organization who assists dogs, cats and their owners in Eastern Contra Costa County.
We rescue approximatly 500 animals a year, all by volunteers, all in our homes and in our hearts.
We are not a shelter,
We have grant funds for the spaying and neutering of East County ferals and food for them if needed.
We have a program called "Angel Ears" where certified dogs and their trainers go to the local libraries and the children read to the dogs. This has proven a very effective way to increase reading skills rapidly. We also take the dogs to senior facilities.
We are in need of volunteer in many capacities.
